We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Pricing Analyst to join our EMEA team based in our Centre of Excellence in Inchinnan, Paisley.

Position Summary:

Are you a problem solver who loves a challenge and wants to help guide our pricing strategies? The Pricing Analyst in EMEA will support revenue and operating income goals thru price attainment within Thermo Fisher Scientific. Establish price standards, strategies, and performance. Build organizational capabilities and communicates key pricing insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership and other relevant business partners. You will have the opportunity to build your network across the organisation with the various projects you will support and lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Commercial teams across 6 Divisions with pricing guidance and pricing tool support, supporting a business driving $2BN
  • Support Web enablement and agreement alignment for colleagues in an additional 3 divisions
  • Retrieve, consolidate, analyse and summarize data from our 5 ERPs and make appropriate business recommendations.
  • Drive price discipline and promote price/value opportunities
  • Validate and sign-off on data integrity for >450K Products
  • Drive the renewal of annual customer agreements, leading all aspects of implementation, comms and training
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis for various internal customers.
  • Guide team on optimised customer pricing
  • Initiate and participate in projects to support local/corporate initiatives.
  • Train/present to sales team new pricing tools/initiatives/strategies.
  • Produce management reports to highlight pricing opportunities.
  • Support the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that improve existing performance.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Mathematics/IT/Comp Science or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential
  • Good presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Able to interface effectively with internal customers from all levels of the organisation
  • Good written and oral communication, as well as influencing skills is required
  • Demonstrated technical ability, particularly with excel spreadsheet applications
  • Good organisational skills are vital, as is the ability to use own initiative and collaborate well within a team
