Job Description

Screens potential volunteers via telephone using prepared questionnaires to determine preliminary eligibility for study participation. Schedules consent/screening appointments for volunteers who pass preliminary phone recruiting interview. Utilizing list from database, calls former participating volunteers to fully recruit studies.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures calls are answered at the earliest opportunity with the highest degree of customer service and professionalism.
  • Conducts demographic and medical history phone interviews with volunteers using prepared questionnaires.
  • Accurately records and reviews demographic information and medical history for all volunteers, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Schedules volunteers for further screening and/or consent appointments if they meet criteria.
  • Performs administrative duties, i.e. copying, filing, completing spreadsheets.
