Summary of InternshipInternship positions provide an opportunity for business, science or marketing students to get hands on experience in a marketing environment.Functions:• Effective project management adhering to established timelines.• Maintain PowerBI and provide reporting support for the system and users.• Perform ad hoc market research and data gathering initiatives tied to the Cancer and Clinical NGS segments.• Liaise with established market research vendors on key projects.• Maintain data accuracy.• Support the execution and data for market development strategic projects.• Coordinate Market Intelligence initiative for Clinical Next Generation Sequencing divisionQualifications:• Student currently studying a science, business or marketing • Students required to complete a 6 - 12 month internship• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing • Leadership and team building skills• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team• Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve• Customer focus• Multi language ability is a plus (French, Spanish, German or Italian).• Previous industrial experience is desirable• Experience with handling databases and analyse data• Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.• Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.• To qualify, applicants should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa statusThermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 100,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
