Job Title: Manager, Demand & Supply Planning

Position Summary:

Take lead of planning team to develop and implement demand plan and inventory plans that will enable the company to meet sales and service objectives. Plans the delivery of components to meet production or customer demand. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery and cost requirements are being met. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer service teams to achieve these objectives. Build up team proficiency and skills improvement, personal ownership of 4Is embodied by Ethics, Compliance, and PPI Business System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish team target and metrics and continuous improvement
  • Define org structure & individual position design with team & people development plan
  • Build planning training system including training program & training material (LSW, WI, SOP etc) with effective measurement tool
  • Lead daily operation
  • Facilitate demand planning with continuous improvement
  • Settle the best inventory module/level both on product group & SKU base
  • Monitor daily supply planning to ensure both quick response to customer with balanced inventory level
  • Monitor day to day procurement to receiving & customer delivery to eliminate operation level error at planning side. With quick finding & fix system set up
  • Monitor change management activities (product phase/in out) & special planning with effective tracking
  • Drive proactive action to eliminate slow moving stock with effective prevention process
  • Collaborate with supply side & cross function team to continuous improve supply lead-time & response lead-time
  • Support customer service team on stock availability
  • Support supply chain leader & other functional leader on report & analysis
  • Transformation & continuous improvement
  • Align with senior leaders for planning team strategy
  • Deploy & optimize end to end SIOP
  • Define & priority improvement projects with PPI involved
  • Study digitalization & automation opportunity

Qualifications:

Knowledge or Experience:

  • At least 5 years of supply and demand planning proven experience in MNC, as well as more than 3 years as people leader role.
  • Office software
  • ERP & MRP system knowledge & Operation
  • Trade compliance and logistic knowledge
  • Practical process improvement or continues improvement proven experience.
  • Fundamental financial awareness
  • Project management experience.

Capability:

  • Oral & Written English
  • Have a proven understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of SIOP
  • Excellent Communication skill
  • Strong logical thinking, good at data analysis
  • Good Influence with strong cross-function collaboration
  • Risk management capability
  • Project management (e.g. process optimization etc.)
  • People management capability(e.g. developing high-performance, coaching, motivation others etc.)
