Job Title: Inventory Coordinator II

Reports To: Team Lead

Group/Division: Specialty Diagnostics Group /Microbiology Division

Position Location: Lenexa, KS

Day/Shift (if applicable): Day Shift (6:00 AM- 4:30 PM) Monday - Thursday and Required OT.

FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt

Position summary:

Responsible for goods issuing raw materials, investigating inventory discrepancies and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Essential functions:

This position is focused on service delivery excellence for the production team. Specific activities relative to the job function will include inventory management and order management.

Assist in the cycle counting of items.

Input and retrieve information from SAP

Partners with purchasing, finance, warehouse and supervisors to accurate inventory discrepancies.

Accountable for accuracy of raw materials

In-depth knowledge of SAP, raw materials, work orders.

Will assist with responding to SAP Inventory and raw material Goods Issuing related questions.

Determines the inventory plan based on agreed stock targets. Monitors inventory levels versus planning. Minimizes inventory while ensuring material availability. Reports details on blocked and rejected inventory. Identifies capacity constraints or low utilization at least 6 months ahead.

Report any actual or potential safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management.

Run weekly inventory reports and investigate discrepancies.

Be able to order raw materials for production via internet and Microsoft Access.

Operate electric jack or forklift as needed and according to accurate safety guidelines.

Push and pull finish goods off production line.

How will you get here?

Education

High School Diploma from an accredited higher learning institution or Equivalent

Minimum Requirements:

Basic knowledge of English and math and ability to read.

Ability to work with little or no supervision and lead multiple tasks at one time.

Computer experience; SAP experience preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be detail oriented.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Proven track record to effectively connect with key collaborators.

Previous experience inventory control, preferred.
