The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.

DSP/USP Manufacturing Specialist / limited one year

Location: Lengnau

As DSP/USP Manufacturing Specialist you conduct the production of recombinant products by operating automated production equipment. You support compliance, scheduling, material management, change controls, investigation, CAPA, operational excellence, etc.

You also support the project teams in the design, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new production lines for recombinant product and the start-up of new production lines.

Your responsibilities

  • During design and start-up of new production line: you support operational readiness in area of expertise such as USP, DSP Media buffer preparation, equipment preparation and cleaning
  • Participates in Technology Transfer of new products
  • Supports CVQ, PQ, Process Validation execution
  • Daily execution of manufacturing activities in USP, DSP or support area (media, buffer preparation, equipment cleaning and preparation)
  • Owns Work Instructions and SOP in their area
  • Support Manufacturing Excellence in order to run robustly and efficiently
  • Participates in defining robust process Parameters during routine manufacturing campaign
  • Participate in New Product Introduction activities

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in pharmaceutical, food or chemistry
  • 3-5 years successful experience in pharmaceuticals operations in a GMP relevant environment
  • first experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Language: English or German
  • Willingness to learn
  • work on a shift rotation model, this includes regular Weekend and public holiday work as well as night work (three shift)
  • On-call duties is encouraged according to respective planning
