Demand Supply & Inventory Planning Specialist (BioProduction Group)

Seongnam-si, South Korea

Job Description

This role supports the transactional activities related to division's business strategy & success and taking pivoting role on communication between internal Sales and global planners to secure availability on time to fulfill customer demands and customer experience. And also, having responsibilities on operational effectiveness & optimization within SCM based on AOP KPI and CI & RPA.

Last, this role supports data resources for monthly closing such as Working Capital, DOS (Days of Supply), Slow moving stock, Pending Reserve inventory and this support makes each DSIP Specialist can review, monitor and take proper action & communication with partners against respective product lines.

  • Stocking strategy review, setup & replenishment thru historical demand and FCST in Bioprocess Supply Center
  • Lot specific inter-company stock transfer order creation & management
  • Stock transfer tracking (Pending GIT monitoring & settling down with partners)
  • Daily MRP running and Intra-company stock transfer order creation & management to fulfill BioProduction demand in Korean network
  • PDH approver of Site extension with planning data upload for sales enablement thru Bioprocess Supply Center
  • Monitoring & managing KPI within AOP (Working Capital, DOS, LIFR and MTS BO)
  • To improve E&O saving and hedging scrap risk, participating global inventory rebalancing program
  • Monitoring safety stock fill rate
  • Regular house keeping on planning parameters
  • Participating cross-functional business process improvement activities as required, especially focusing on optimization & utilization in Bioprocess Supply Center
  • Publishing MTS Fillrate & E&O risk dash board weekly
  • Providing data resources for monthly closing, SIOP database & supply possibility on Rev rec perspective

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Less than 3 years Supply Planning or related experience
  • Prefers to use ERP system (SAP or Oracle E1)
  • Good verbal and written local language & English communication skill
  • Sense of priority and urgency
  • Looks at change in a positive manner
  • Promotes good attitude and teamwork
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
