Location/Division Specific Information

Cincinnati, OH - Pharma Services Group

What will you do?

  • Plans, coordinates, and controls assigned finished goods, bulk product, supporting materials, and workflow to achieve high Client Service levels, lowest inventory investment, and highest plant efficiency.
  • Uses SAP planning system, Taylor Shop Floor scheduling system, spreadsheet applications, make-to-order planning techniques/ knowledge, and professional direct to customer communications to achieve results
  • Serves as a planning focal point for pre-commercial and post-launch projects. Supports project start-ups as assigned and effectively supports PDS products transferring to commercial sales.
  • Serves as a planning point of contact for lifecycle management of commercial products.
  • Accountable for sales unit forecasts, master scheduling planning (process orders), material requirements, batch material readiness, shop floor scheduling (dispatch list) through follow up of execution for manufacturing/ packaging batch approvals, carrier coordination and on-time shipment of product.
  • Initiates and maintains SAP data accuracy for assigned materials, along with SOR data.
  • Works with cross-functional areas of the site as well as the Customer to achieve expected results.
  • Must be able to manage a variety of customers from low to high volume, low to high complexity.
  • Uses SAP planning system to manage raw/pkg materials per customer forecasts.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years professional experience; supply chain or customer-facing preferred.
  • Experience in enterprise business systems and business software (specifically, SAP) preferred.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to inspire, foster innovation, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong commitment to internal and external customer service.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Concise and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of GMP requirements.
  • Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

Education

BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or another business or technical field preferred; equivalent experience required.
