We have an opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join us and support our team based at our Inchinnan office. In this role you will closely with business leaders and colleagues in the functions within the group, as well as colleagues throughout the business, to contribute to, and manage elements of, the smooth operation of the global corporate tax compliance function.

• Manages own time on multiple tax assignments, working effectively with others within the UK tax team and communicating progress and results
• Manages own portfolio of UK entities, reviews of disclosures and computations
• Manages and monitors tax compliance and provision to returns in own portfolio of jurisdictions
• Provides input into forecast of UK Group taxable profit by assigned legal entity for input into the Cash Tax Payments Forecast, communicating effectively with business leadership to improve visibility to outcomes, enabling decision making at Corporate level
• Review of tax accounting quarterly packs prepared by local accountants for certain complex assigned entities
• Provides reports to Management on status of Corporate Tax compliance
• Manages or participates in project work on an ad hoc basis
• Mentor and develop team members, providing ongoing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.

• Good general UK corporation tax and tax accounting knowledge and experience gained within the profession or in a similar role in industry
• Experience of coaching and management of other team members
• Professional accounting and/or tax qualification
• Strong organisational capabilities
• Good judgement and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills and a strong team player
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines through planning, organisation and persistence.
• Open to the design and implementation of new processes to ensure effective and consistent controls are in place
