The Business Manager III role to the Cell Biology, cell and gene therapy segment must be passionate about supporting customers in the fast-paced Commercial Use markets! Location: Onsite Carlsbad, CA

What you will do?

  • Coordination across all aspects of the Commercial Partnerships functional workstream and contracting projects, helping to drive timely progress for each project.
  • Owning relationships and communications with key operational partners at relevant global sites such as Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Customer Care.
  • Coordinate with Commercial, PMO, and Reserves teams to facilitate collection of customer forecast, order entry, and fulfillment, as directly related to commercial supply agreements.
  • Lead regular internal and customer-facing status updates to ensure that all partners are fully informed of the status of orders and projects,
  • Be a partner advocate throughout the contract, post-execution customer engagement by leading internal and external customer-facing status updates. Confirm effective communications are taking place and identify any concerns of the customer.
  • Solicit support from the appropriate Thermo Fisher resources to help troubleshoot, raise, and resolve risks jeopardizing either company or customer commitments.

How will you get here?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A. in the Biological Sciences or Chemistry required
  • M.S. degree in Biological Sciences or Chemistry preferred
  • 5+ years of industry technical experience
  • 3+ years of project experience participating in cross-functional project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability in customer-facing role.
  • Must be a good teammate, a problem solver, intellectually curious, results oriented, and have an ability to anticipate customer needs throughout partnership development.
  • Have experience leading and aligning project teams and have excellent communication/customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a group setting, with minimal direction.

Tried experience and familiarity with:

  • Project Management tools
  • Manufacturing systems
  • Working within a highly matrixed organization including functional roles in Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00-$115,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
