Report to: AR Manager

Position Summary:

The position is a Senior Accountant role in one of the Accounting (AR) teams. They will be responsible for accounts receivable and credit control process.

What you will do:

  • Understand and follow the company's revenue recognition policy
  • Handle day to day operations of Order to Cash functions including billing, cash application, customer deposits etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Commercial and Customer Services teams to support any outstanding discrepancies on AR
  • Supervise staff members in AR team
  • Perform month end closing according company's policy, responsible for the BS accounts breakdowns prepare to make sure high quality control
  • Review customer accounts on a regular basis to maintain an appropriate level of credit risk
  • DSO forecast and gap analysis
  • Participate in various finance projects and initiatives to drive improvements in execution
  • Be a key team member to build a cohesive, high-performance team

How you will get here:

Education

  • University or College degree / degree in accounting or finance is an advantage

Attributes/Skills

  • Technical accounting and internal controls knowledges and experiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Quick leaner with logical thinking
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A self-starter and great teammate

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 3+ years of experience or Relevant working experience
  • Boki 2nd Grade or similar experience is required
  • Native Japanese, business level English.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft excel and Word
  • Experience of credit management is a plus
  • Experience in any ERP is desired, SAP or JDE work experience is a plus
