Description
The Agency's vision for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is to proactively manage assets throughout their lifecycle to ensure their availability for prescribed use, consistent with prevailing best practices, as promoted by the International Standards Organization under ISO 55000. The EAM Program drives initiatives that coordinate asset management standards and practices across Authority facilities. Through workforce empowerment and continuous improvement in processes, technology, work methods, and tools, the EAM Program optimizes asset risk, performance, and cost.
Under the direction of EAM Senior Program Manager of Implementation, the Staff Data Analyst plays a key role in collaborating with stakeholders and developing user-centric products that solve technical business problems and drive performance. Using tools such as relational databases, SQL, SAP, Microsoft's Power Platform, and more, this role ensures the right people have access to the information they need, when they need it. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of soliciting and synthesizing customer feedback to improve information systems and reporting tools. Excellent communication skills, the ability to develop creative solutions to unique data and operational problems, and a mindset of continuous improvement are required.

Responsibilities
- Perform software testing to ensure CMMS applications meet functional requirements.
- Administer a collection of SharePoint sites to maintain information security, user access, and organization.
- Continuously improve business intelligence dashboards (PowerBI) in response to client feedback.
- Acquire and automate the extraction of data from novel sources. Subsequently establish documented ETL processes.
- Perform data cleansing and validation in accordance with database specifications.
- Document and map business processes and user (business) requirements.
- Maintain a code repository and associated technical documentation.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and technical reports as required by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer/data science, statistics, information systems, engineering technology, engineering, finance, transportation planning/analysis, or related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience (cumulative or continuous).
- Proficiency writing and managing Structured Query Language (SQL) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code.
- Prior work administering SharePoint or other collaborative technology platform.
- Proficiency with one or more components of Microsoft's Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Automate).
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in management/business analytics, data science, information technology, public policy/administration emphasizing financial management/quantitative methods, or related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated record of using data, systems thinking, and stakeholder engagement to enhance operations and solve novel business problems.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, XML, Power Query M.
- Advanced understanding of SQL and relational database structures (Microsoft Azure preferred).
- Experience writing and interpreting technical and functional specifications.
- Comfort communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Prior technical experience supporting enterprise asset management (EAM), computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or related enterprise technology implementations is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of one or more data analysis programming languages (R, Python, M, C++, etc.) is desired.
- Working knowledge of geographic information systems (ArcGIS or QGIS) and computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, etc. desired.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best-practices. Associated certifications preferred.
