Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities:
\n
\nSupervises nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others \nReviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.\nAssesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality resident care and performance of staff.\nUses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.\nContributes to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.\nDevelops a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.\nEvaluates the resident’s responses to nursing interventions.\nKnows the rationale for the effect of medications and treatments and correctly administers the same.\n\n

\nCurrent state license as an RN.\nCurrent CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired.\nManagement or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing desired.\n\n
