When you join us as the Activities Director at The The Laurels of Heath, you’ll manage an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental and psychological wellbeing of each guest.

Responsibilities:

\n

\nComplete assessments and develop care plans to design activities that are multi-faceted, meet guests’ functional levels, and reflect the needs and interests of each guest.\nOffer activities that engage and involve facility, staff, volunteers and visitors.\nAssist with escorting guests to and from activities.\nPost monthly activity calendars.\nManage Activities Assistants in facilitating guest engagement in activities.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n

\nLicensed or registered, by the State in which practicing; and is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activities professional OR\nHas two years of experience in a social or recreational program OR\nIs a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant OR\nHas completed a training course approved by the State\n\n
