In this role, you will assist Regional Product Management on a variety of projects. Some examples of projects include working on rate revisions, performing deep dives into a particular state's top and bottom-line metrics, assisting on compliance work for a state, or being on a part of a team to advance Personal Lines product-related initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of people and a variety of states in this role.

WORK ARRANGEMENTS: This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our offices will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week. Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accountable for delivering analysis and recommendations that will impact top line growth and bottom-line profitability across all distribution channels for affected states
• Work with Product Managers to drive business results, comply with state specific standards, and maintain state compliance and competitiveness regarding policy forms and coverage
• Effectively utilize a network of reliable, efficient working relationships with other departments including pricing analytics, countrywide product, research, underwriting, claims, service, marketing communications and other areas that support the business to monitor market dynamics and work on efforts to make changes to business offerings and processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of insurance experience; previous analyst experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong Excel skills required; experience with other data mining tools strongly desired
• Ability to work with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize various data to produce recommendations and actions
• Strong project management skills and drive-for-results mentality, with the ability to prioritize work and make decisions in a business context
• Solutions-oriented individual, with ability to think strategically and implement change
• Ability to develop & sustain productive relationships with both internal and external partners in support of state profitable growth

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$68,000 - $102,000
