Analyze the performance of our largest broker partners across Business Insurance, uncovering trends and insights that will drive our business forward. You'll collaborate closely with business partners, delivering ad-hoc analyses that inform key decisions and strategies. Your strong technical skills will be essential in developing robust data sets and tools, empowering stakeholders to conduct their own analyses and drive segment initiatives.

Work Arrangements:
This role follows a hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working onsite at Hartford CT Office three days a week-typically Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:
• Drive Enterprise Initiatives: Play a pivotal role in executing high-impact enterprise initiatives that bolster our segment and field distribution strategies, ensuring we stay ahead in the market.
• Consult and Collaborate: Partner with internal customers, including National Client Practices, Home Office and Field leaders, and business heads, to craft analyses that deliver powerful, actionable insights that drive business success.
• Innovate with BI Technologies: Design and build cutting-edge self-service capabilities, reports, and quality assurance processes using a variety of business intelligence technologies such as Tableau, Tableau Prep, and Excel, empowering stakeholders with the tools they need.
• Conduct Quantitative Analysis: Utilize advanced quantitative analysis techniques and conduct thorough quality assurance to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy.
• Streamline Processes: Create process efficiencies that reduce time spent on generating reports, allowing you to focus more on in-depth analytics and strategic insights.
• Integrate Data Sources: Work with multiple data sources and platforms to construct comprehensive, integrated views that enhance customer access to vital information, driving informed decision-making.
• Support Sales and Distribution: Provide essential support to the broader Sales and Distribution organization, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Educational Background: Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree, with a strong preference for those who have studied Strategy, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Operations.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the insurance industry is ideal, though similar roles in Finance, Data & Analytics, Consulting, or Operations are also highly valued.
• Data Expertise: Proficiency in working with large data sets, with the ability to quickly detect and resolve data-related issues. Your analytical skills will be crucial in driving insights and making data-driven decisions.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the agility to adjust to changing priorities. You'll be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects with ease.
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, SQL, and Business Objects are strongly preferred. Your technical abilities will enable you to create powerful data visualizations and reports.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and lateral thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into pragmatic solutions. You'll be a key player in shaping our business strategies.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated critical reasoning and resourcefulness in solving complex business problems. Your innovative approach will help us overcome challenges and seize opportunities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience and comfort in interacting with business leaders. You'll be able to convey your insights and recommendations effectively to drive action.

Internet Requirements:
• For full-time hybrid positions: (1) high speed broadband internet service is required, we do not recommend or support DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspots, Fiber without a modem and Satellite; (2) Internet provider supplied modem/router/gateway is hardwired to the Hartford issued computer with an ethernet cable; and (3) 100MB download/10MB upload. Contact/Call center role using Genesys softphone and Citrix/ATO users. Users who participate in frequent Teams video conferences, as well as those who download/upload large file content throughout the workday.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$70,960 - $106,440
