Trades Worker

Westfield, MA

Job Description

Western Massachusetts Hospital, part of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), is seeking a motivated Trades Worker to contribute directly to the upkeep and improvement of buildings and infrastructure through hands-on work in construction, maintenance, and repair. This role supports skilled tradespeople across multiple disciplines-including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and more-by providing essential assistance on both large-scale projects and smaller, independent tasks. The position is ideal for individuals who take pride in practical problem-solving, value teamwork, and are eager to build their skills while maintaining the functionality and safety of critical facilities.

Participation in maintenance stand-by duties ensures ongoing development and the chance to contribute to a team that keeps operations running smoothly around the clock.
