Highway Administrator's Co-op Fall 2024

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Assist and support the Highway Chief Administrator Officer and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer on assigned projects.
  • Attend project meetings and record meeting summaries.
  • Assist with the tracking and inspection of deliverables.
  • Confer with staff in order to exchange information, coordinate efforts, and obtain information concerning projects and activities.
  • Conduct project and policy research and field investigations.
  • Develop findings and reports related to specific activities and issues.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the project team

  • Must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency, including the ability to develop and analyze spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
  • Applicants must be highly organized to meet the priorities of this office for accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
