Job Description
Overview:
The Director of Career Services provides strategic leadership and vision for the university's career services, fostering partnerships externally and across campus to deliver comprehensive career development programs and services that support students' transition into the workforce. This role requires a dynamic professional with expertise in career development, student affairs, and employer engagement. Of particular importance is expanding the career readiness of all graduates and increasing the percentage of graduates with internship experience. The Director is also responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships and relationships with university academic and administrative departments, employers, and other external constituents.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
2. Three to five years of demonstrated effective leadership and supervision of professional full-time staff.
3. Three to five years of progressively more responsible management experience in a corporate or university career services environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in student affairs, human resource management, business, or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrated experienced working in a multiracial and multi-ethnic environment with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
3. Experience in marketing, negotiation, and strategic planning.
Working Location
This is an on-site, in-person position in Salem, MA with on-campus responsibilities, which may require some evening and weekend hours.
