We are seeking a Senior Manager, Media & Retail Media - Market to lead the development, execution, and optimization of in-market media and retail media strategies across brands and categories. This role plays a critical leadership role in translating brand and commercial priorities into high-impact media plans, while driving performance, efficiency, and strong governance across traditional media and rapidly evolving Retail Media Networks (RMNs).

The ideal candidate is a strong media leader with deep expertise in media strategy, digital and retail media ecosystems, and performance optimization, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a complex, matrixed system.

What You'll Do for Us

Media & Retail Media Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of media and retail media strategies for the market, aligned with brand, category, and business priorities.
  • Own integrated media plans across digital, social, ecommerce, and retail media, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and competitive Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Drive retail media execution in partnership with customers, bottlers, and commercial teams to unlock shopper growth opportunities across RMNs and in-store digital environments.
  • Translate strategic direction into clear briefs and execution plans for agencies and partners.

Investment Governance & Performance Management

  • Partner with Marketing Procurement Services (PS) on media buying strategies and negotiations to maximize value from media investments.
  • Oversee media investment governance, including buying orders, budget shifts, and corrective actions.
  • Own tracking and reporting of media budgets (planned vs. actual), ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support audit processes and ensure compliance with media governance standards.

Optimization, Measurement & Learning

  • Recommend Direct Marketing Investment (DMI) allocation by brand and channel based on performance data, learning agendas, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor brand presence and quality of execution across channels, including reach, frequency, productivity, and compliance.
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX), Analytics, and PS teams to evolve media measurement frameworks and translate insights into optimization actions.

Stakeholder & System Leadership

  • Act as a senior media partner to Brand, Category, IMX, Commercial, and Bottler teams.
  • Influence brand and creative strategy through a strong media effectiveness and performance lens.
  • Collaborate closely with LATAM and Global IMX teams to ensure alignment with global standards while enabling local relevance.
  • Provide guidance and informal leadership to junior team members and agency partners.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Media Strategy, Planning, and Buying within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) / Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), agency, or media environments.
  • Strong expertise in digital media, ecommerce, and retail media ecosystems.
  • Experience managing significant media budgets and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally in matrixed organizations.
