Senior Director, Supply Planning Food Service

The Senior Director, Foodservice Supply Planning will lead the strategic and operational supply planning efforts for our beverage syrup production and procurement. This role is pivotal in ensuring an uninterrupted, efficient, and cost-effective supply of BIBs (Bag in a Box) and Freestyle cartridges, as well as finished goods product (e.g., Smartwater) that serves demand in restaurant outlets and on-premise customers (e.g., hospitals) by collaborating closely with NAOU Demand Planning, TCCC CPS and suppliers. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in supply chain planning, cross-functional leadership, and a deep understanding of the beverage industry.

What You'll Do for Us

Digital Capabilities

  • Lead collaborative efforts to build and execute Autonomous Planning capabilities with Syrup plants and CPS by evaluating readiness, training supply planners and line schedulers on master data / planning parameter management and ensuring process adherence.
  • Work closely with NAOU Digital Capabilities team to build sustainable digital capabilities for Syrup Plants to place orders directly to CPS for concentrate needs and to share mid-term forecasts to support demand forecast within the Autonomous Planning umbrella.
  • Test the current VMI tool in Pigment with ML algorithms to enable Autonomous Planning capabilities and expand to implement if proven viable.

Supply Planning Strategies & Team Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply planning strategy for fountain syrup production and procurement collaborating with plant GMs to meet demand forecasts.
  • Lead and collaborate with a high-performing team responsible for supply planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and supplier collaboration for BIB materials, including concentrate.
  • Partner closely with Commercial leadership, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to synchronize supply chain activities with customer-specific innovation and LTOs (Limited Time Offers), seasonal demand, and promotional events.
  • Optimize inventory levels and network constraints (including load capacity and warehousing space at Syrup Plants) to balance service levels with cost efficiency and while minimizing waste.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning processes, leveraging data analytics and technology to enhance forecasting accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the supply planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Develop and present supply chain performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the beverage or food & beverage industry.
  • Change agent - ability to drive large-scale change in cross-functional processes and capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of syrup production, formulation, and supply chain dynamics within RTD beverage or similar sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, Blue Yonder).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving process improvements and cost savings.
