Reports To: VP, Franchise Leadership

Primary Job Location: (USA) Candidates must be currently located in or willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City, Utah area.

Travel: This role requires 25 - 50% travel, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is preferred.

Preferred Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in franchise operations or a similar leadership role within the CPG industry.

This position is a pivotal role responsible for territories within a Top 10 NAOU bottler as well as Mainstream bottlers. You will provide strategic oversight and leadership within an assigned geographical and bottler territory(ies)

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in franchise operations, commercial strategy, and cross-functional leadership. You will serve as the primary Coca-Cola representative to bottler leadership, driving alignment, execution, and performance across key business objectives, including topline growth, market share, and volume. This role requires a strong command of franchise functional skills, including system economics, commercial execution, business planning, and value creation. What You'll Do for Us

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Franchise Management

  • Serve as the 360-degree 'face of Coca-Cola' to bottler heads within assigned territories.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with corporate goals and the Annual Business Plan (ABP).
  • Drive bottler strategies to achieve topline revenue, market share, volume, and other key performance indicators.
  • Apply franchise functional skills to optimize system economics, value creation, and long-term growth.

2. Performance Management & Business Planning

  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, proactively adjusting plans to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead annual and quarterly business planning processes with bottlers, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Leverage market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions and optimize outcomes.

3. Operational Execution & Commercial Strategy

  • Ensure executional excellence by managing controllables and identifying performance gaps.
  • Partner with bottlers to drive commercial execution across channels, packages, and pricing strategies.
  • Lead corrective action planning with urgency and precision to maintain momentum toward goals.

4. System Stewardship & Support Function Leadership

  • Accelerate the effectiveness of key support functions by fostering cross-functional collaboration and engagement.
  • Provide strategic guidance and resources to ensure support teams are aligned and empowered to deliver results.
  • Steward system health through governance, capability building, and joint value creation initiatives.

5. Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with bottlers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Represent Coca-Cola's values of transparency, integrity, and ethical leadership in all interactions.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams to drive shared goals and mutual success.

6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Champion innovative approaches to franchise leadership and operational excellence.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, agility, and improvement across the territory.
  • Lead or contribute to high-impact projects aligned with business priorities and growth initiatives.

7. Other projects tied to strategic priorities as may be identified according to business need.

What You'll Need

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in franchise operations, commercial strategy, or general management within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Deep understanding of franchise functional skills, including system economics, business planning, commercial execution, and value creation.
  • Proven success in delivering strategic objectives related to revenue growth, market share, and operational execution.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence complex organizational structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across diverse business units.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and adapting strategies in dynamic market environments.
