Studio X is an industry leading model and is the future of modern of marketing at global scale. It is a multi-disciplinary digital ecosystem - that is a one stop shop for all our marketing execution. StudioX is driving unprecedented speed/responsiveness and remarkable efficiencies and effectiveness. It has helped standardize processes and ways of working, so we can focus on outcomes and iterate faster - underpinned by a common data and tech spine. StudioX is now in its third year and has started scaling AI platforms as we leverage agentification to re-imagine the model.

KEY WORKING PARAMETERS

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

  • Drives STEWARDSHIP of Studio X agenda with an annual budget outlay of $100+ MN, via Expertise, Agile delivery and Change Management comprising integration of multiple capabilities, and ways of working consistent to global guidelines for Studio X, key processes and routines, tools and best practices to deliver the Studio X agenda.
  • Develop and LEAD the Global StudioX Workflow and technology architecture and agentification agenda that enables the integration and scaling of E2E marketing capabilities overseeing a budget allocation of more than $10+ Mn .
  • ENVISION and lead the Gen AI capability ProdX , required for modern content at scale, alongside the operating model to ensure connectivity between key IMX disciplines.
  • Anticipates technology and AI trends to develop strategic roadmap and plan for how these capabilities should be embedded into the TCCC system and as part of the Studio X operating model ensuring integration at scale.
  • Conceptualize integration of bottler processes for omnichannel content development and deployment
  • Lead global bottler engagement to drive management of trade channels to enable seamless path to purchase execution.
  • Liaise with designated Studio X & IMX Disciplines (e.g. Media) leads to drive the implementation of the Global & OU Studio X agenda, while connecting and integrating it to the global Studio X technology and Gen AI solutions roadmap
  • Drives standardization, orchestration and governance of technology and data processes through the Global Hub to enable ideas and experiences to scale globally with speed.
  • Works as a key partner & liaison with WPP's Studio X leadership, including agency engagement and assessment, communication management in line with the global guidelines that will support the future modern marketing organization.
  • This role works with the OU STUDIO X leads in defining the roll out of capabilities, driving continuous learning and optimization, and escalate the pain points to both Open X and Studio X global lead.
  • This role also works with Global Category teams as well IMX Disciplines leads to drive an E2E, integrated, cohesive model that leverages data-driven, technology enabled modern marketing at scale.
  • Contributes, as part of the global Studio X team, in creating the future agenda for Studio X, in anticipation of the future. experiences and learning culture, leveraging external best practices.
  • Coordinates the Mkt Platform Services at OU level, partnering with the Mkt Platform Services leader on deliverables (including ensuring SLAs are being achieved and helping identify and solve key pain points and structural issues).
  • This is a senior leadership role that requires strong influencing and critical thinking skills combined with the ability to drive progress in an ambiguous and complex environment.

KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS

Experience

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of senior leadership experience including Marketing, Media, Ad/Martech, Analytics, Innovation, Capability Management, Project Management, Change Management
  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred.
  • We are looking for change agents that are ambitious and have a balance of creativity, technical and business acumen, hence able to transform Marketing by bridging the future and the present, flexibility and discipline, processes and iteration, global and regional.

Work Focus

  • Ability to lead and influence multiple stakeholders, delivering the highest priority and enterprise-wide scale bets, in a seamless fashion across platforms, systems, processes, routines etc.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and bring together multiple concepts across functions to define the strategic direction for the business.
  • Ability to mobilize and champion change management across the region and teams.
  • Ability to develop, curate and deliver integrated strategy & communication, cognizant of key stakeholders.

Communication Focus

  • The role communicates internally across Global IMX Disciplines, OU Mkt (and eventually including Key Bottlers), the global Marketing community (Global team + 8 OUs), and OU HR and PAC.
  • The role influences and aligns senior leaders across WPP, Global teams and the OU, to adopt, support and implement the elements outlined in the scope of the role. The role also negotiates with senior leaders at Global & OU level to invest in many of the elements outlined in the scope of the role our people, especially where opposing interests relative to local plans exist.
  • The role is also responsible for influencing and sharing information and practices across the global Marketing community.

KEY Knowledge REQUIREMENTS

  • Deep understanding of execution of marketing and role of E2E processes, content, data & technology
  • Deep understanding of category and creative processes within TCCC - from building growth audiences, addressable creativity that drives transactions to measurement and learning.
  • Strong appreciation for the transformative role of data & technology for activation, insight & measurement
  • Project management and agency management experience
  • Change management and culture transformation
  • Demonstrable network and communities of practice
  • Capability strategy & management
