  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Shopper/Human Insights to deepen the company's understanding of shopper behavior and channel dynamics. This includes identifying actionable growth opportunities to shape strategic channel development and impactful in-market execution.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Shopper/Human Insights Director, helping to build advanced shopper insight frameworks. The primary focus will include growth opportunities for the Vending Machine, Eat and Drinking and Online channel optimizing its strategy and execution, and contributing to Revenue Growth Management (RGM) efforts through data-driven insights.
  • Lead the enhancement of the organization's innovation and ideation processes, integrating actionable shopper insights into the design and development of new products, product renewals, and promotions. Ensure that innovative solutions align with market demands and enhance the company's competitive edge.
  • Reports to Shopper / Human Insights Director.


What You'll Do for Us

Channel & Shopper insights, trends & agenda

  • Develop and present data-driven shopper insights to commercial teams, enabling powerful in-market executions for the Vending Machine, Eat and Drinking and Online channel.
  • Deliver compelling shopper insights to commercial teams based on the above to develop the strong in-market executions including optimized assortment (brand & variant lineups, pack type/size variations, pricing) for the specific channel that may drive RGM.

Ad Hoc Research/Flow to the work/Cross Category Agenda

  • Proactively lead ad hoc shopper and human insights projects, ensuring alignment with evolving market conditions. Extend the scope to include broader market and consumer insights as needed to address organizational priorities
  • Lead tangible deliverable for Core product renewal, New product launch and promotion Innovation process

What We'll Need From You

  • Demonstrate proactive ownership of business challenges, demonstrating the ability to define the scope of work and excel in ambiguous or uncertain environments.
  • Least 5 years of experience in roles related to insight generation, consulting, or similar fields within marketing or analytics.
  • A solid academic foundation in Marketing or Analytics is preferred, with additional experience in consumer research, behavioral analysis, or adjacent disciplines highly regarded.
  • Required to tackle structured and unstructured problems coordinating all phases of analysis from formulation to conclusions / recommendations.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams & stakeholders, delivering the highest priority and OU wide insight solutions, in a holistic and proactive fashion.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery across competing demands.
  • A strong team player, comfortable engaging with diverse internal stakeholders across commercial teams and other functions, fostering collaboration.
  • Be a clear and inspiring communicator, adept at translating technical or research data into meaningful business implications, action plans, and recommendations.
  • Global communication skill to participate in global community and good for importing and exporting winning case from/to other countries.
  • Language: Japanese/English (Business professional)
