This plant is utilizing state of the art manufacturing technology to improve how our employees work and how we produce our products. We are looking for an experienced in finance, responsible for calculating, monitoring and reporting to Corporate financial results & projections and perform standard costs process for Central Zone, ensuring the accuracy of the figures and the compliance and all local and Corporte policies and requirements. Actively participates in the financial team to identify and to solve problems and issues related to accounting and financial reporting. Be involved in maintaining the integrity of the internal control structure both in and out of the Finance direct areas of influence. The products produced in this plant will reach hundreds of millions of consumers across the world. What you'll do for us

1) Region Standard Process

  • Coordinate the standard cost process and consolidate the standard costs for the Central Zone.
  • Prepare inventory management recovery, sales and production volume projections and coordinate and ensure proper ingredient price analysis.
  • Run the standard cost release in S4 for Coca-Cola Industrias in January 1st.

2) Business Plan Process

  • Coordinate, prepare and submit the Business Plan for CPS Liberia (several versions are required according with Atlanta guidelines), consolidating information from all operational areas related to key business variables (sales volume, production volume, absorption, operating expenses, usage, revenues, COGS, exchange impacts, FTE's, deferrals and manufacturing total costs).

3) Rolling Estimate Process

  • Pre-validate Purchase price variance and coordinate submissions in IPA tool and rolling estimate.
  • Validate, analyze actuals and rolling estimate variations, gathering information from the accounting area (actual data), and working with volume trends and budgets to estimate financial figures for the rest of the year.
  • Ensure proper recording for absorption, spending, usage and PPV deferrals.

4) Month End Closing

  • Prepare the consolidation of month end closing assuring the accuracy of the figures that impact CPS Liberia P&L.
  • Monthly ensure accurate COGS is recorded in the Operating Unit figures according with the figures provided during Region Standard Process.
  • Ensure intercompany charges had been generated to other entities
  • Validate all the USGAPP Process (American Accountancy Principles) monthly in accounting records.
  • Monthly submission of the financial forecasted and actual figures in the tools developed by the Company for this purpose.
  • Analyze, review and submit Costa Rica Tiers financial metrics.
  • Verification of Statutory Compliance in coordination with OU LEC/TAX.
  • Collaboration with External/Internal Audits according with requirements (CAD, EY, etc).
  • Support OU and Corporate with ad hoc requirements.
  • Coordinate and support analyst deliverables.
  • Provide financial support to other departments to generate value added initiatives.
  • Provide financial/cost consultancy and guidance to other areas in the Company, in order to assess/ optimize the financial impact in business transactions.
  • Participate and know the risk matrices in the area of work.
  • Participate in the different health, environmental, and safety initiatives or programs implemented in the work.

Requirements:

  • University/Bachelor's Degree. CPI / CPA or MBA with major on related field are a plus.
  • Must-have previous experience managing staff in charge.
  • Familiar with GAAP and Local GAAP regulations
  • Previous experience in similar roles (5+ years) and management of staff in charge, Knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Internal Control, and related fields.
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Technical Skillis: SAP knowledge and Advanced Excel.

    Familiar with GAAP and Local GAAP regulations.

    Familiar with ERP systems and productivity/reporting software.

    Free trade zone knowledge.
