We are seeking a Trade Control Manager (Level K) to lead our Global Trade Control writing and functional support teams based out of Seattle, WA (or one of the other listed locations)..

The Trade Control Manager is responsible for providing guidance, driving actions and process improvements, and implementing internal controls that enable the company's products and services in the global market.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of trade control professionals focused on Boeing trade control writings and support to Boeing functions
  • Understand the complexities of Boeing's businesses and functions
  • Combine multiple elements of global trade controls into a comprehensive global trade strategy for internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with a variety of partners including senior leaders, engineering, business development, and contracts to support complex export activities, authorization requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead, develop, motivate, and inspire employees through coaching, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities
  • Identify travelled work and develop solutions to bring value to the company and its customers

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. You may travel up to 25%.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience working with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ experience leading or managing a team
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
  • 10+ years of experience in trade control compliance strategy

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $159,850
