Our team is seeking motivated, Associate (Level 2), Mid-Level (Level 3), and Senior (Level 4) Structural Analysis Engineers to join the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) Systems Engineering Team in Saint Charles, MO.You will verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.

The Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization is dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions on Cruise Missiles Systems (CMS) programs. Connected to our customers' missions, we deliver unique capability through our exceptional talent. The programs that we support in Saint Charles MO include Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon legacy and development weapons) utilized on various Military Aircraft, some Ground-Based Platforms, along with other future contract awards.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
  • Support test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
  • Participate in internal/external design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), preliminary/critical design reviews (PDR/CDR) with government Customer and program leadership
  • Collaborate with engineers in other disciplines (structural design, loads/dynamics, mass properties, materials & properties, thermal analysis, aerodynamics, etc.)
  • Dynamics and Loads Engineers will also generate structural loads, conduct modal analysis and testing, support vibration, shock, acoustic, acceleration life and flight test execution, and analyze/report test results.
  • Works under general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 1+ Year(s) of experience in Engineering
  • 1+ Year(s) of relevant structural analysis experience
  • 1+ Year(s) of experience with Finite Element Models (FEM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Mid-Level: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Senior: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in applying engineering processes and principles
  • Military aircraft, weapons and/or commercial aircraft structures experience
  • Good communication (verbal and written) skill
  • Experience with finite element modeling (NASTRAN and/or ABAQUS)
  • Experience in Model Based Definition, NX/Teamcenter or CATIA/ENOVIA
  • Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
  • Experience with systems development and integration

Typical Education/Experience

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior 4 (Level 4 Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $76,500 - $103,500

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $95,200 - $128,800

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $115,600 - $156,400
