Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Structural Analyses Engineer to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

On this position you will be responsible for structures analysis covering BCF (737 and 767 APs) and Modifications projects.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) perform structure analysis and cooperation with other teams, such as DE (design engineering), ME (manufacturing engineering), etc.:

  • Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design.
  • Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
  • Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
  • Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.
  • Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
  • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general direction.

  • A key player in structure analysis Modifications team.
  • Working and coordinating technical tasks in all the main areas of the group.
  • One of the most skilled employees in the team, this enables successful completion of work tasks on time, with high quality and efficiency.
  • Positioning him/herself as an excellent, highly professional engineer who is involved in the all work activities both for Long Beach and BEC Ukraine teams.
  • Active collaborator and communicator with US Leads, shall constantly demonstrate high level of technical performance that ultimately leads to increased level of authority at the BEC Ukraine.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Master degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • English level - Intermediate and higher.
  • MS Office - advanced user.
  • 3+ years of work experience as structure analyses engineer.
  • Existing rights to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of work experience as structure analysis engineer.
  • 2+ years of work as stress analyses focal.
  • Fluent Ukrainian.
  • Deep understanding of corporate quality processes and tools.
  • Have general knowledge of aircraft passenger systems and airframe structure.
  • Knowledge of drafting and dimensioning fundamentals. Knowledge of 3-D CAD software for development of details, assemblies, and installation documentation.
  • Candidates must be able to plan and organize their time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands.
  • This position requires strong communication, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
