Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager (Level M) to join our 737 Value Stream Integration (VSI) team in Renton, Washington.

The selected candidate will provide senior level leadership to a team of supply chain professionals on the 737 Value Stream Integration (VSI) team in Renton, WA. This leader will be responsible for building and leading a team of first-line managers and supply chain analysts (SCA's) co-located in the Renton 737 factory. This team plays the critical roles of ensuring the supply chain has accurate demand for parts, building strong relationships with suppliers, working with fulfillment and operations teams on dynamic daily consumption needs, and managing high value inventory dollars for the highest rate BCA Program. This leader will be a senior member of the 737 VSI team, working cross-functionally with both Program and Supply Chain executive and senior leaders to ensure achievement of Program and BCA goals.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Manages employees and managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience Procurement and Supply Chain processes
  • 3+ experience with managing or leading people or teams
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with Boeing Supply Chain procurement
  • 5+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 5+ years of people management experience including responsibility for performance management and career development
  • 5+ years of experience with Project Management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $174,600 - $213,400
