The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Quality Production Specialist to join the Quality Team located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes.
  • Guides the review of production plans.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance.
  • Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field.
  • Establishes process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives.
  • Oversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  • Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion.
  • Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
  • Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated.
  • Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity.
  • Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
  • Works under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring lower level technicians

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing planning
  • 1+ years of experience in program or project management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with regulatory requirements
  • Experience leading or managing Corrective Actions or Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience in Quality Assurance
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels
  • Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
  • Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation

Typical Education & Experience:

AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Summary pay range: USD 103,700 - 140,300
