The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Senior Engineering Integration Project Management Engineer that will provide project leadership of multiple and simultaneous diverse continuous improvement projects which impact the entire BGS engineering value stream. This position can be located at the following Boeing sites: Berkeley, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; San Antonio, TX; Fort Walton Beach, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Long Beach, CA; Charleston, SC; or Huntsville, AL; Plano, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will develop project structure, organization and operating rhythm that ensures successful accomplishment of priorities, goals and objectives. This position will use the Boeing Problem Solving Model methodology or Route Cause Corrective Action methodologies and Project Management tools to lead a geographically diverse core team operating in a virtual setting
  • Projects will include, but are not limited to: integration and automation of engineering systems and execution metrics, supporting the development of dashboards and health assessments, and articulating engineering requirements for the development of technology solutions
  • This position can be supported from any listed locations in a telecommuting capacity, with a requirement for 10% travel to major Boeing locations

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently have a Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
  • 1+years of using the Boeing Problem Solving Model or Route Cause Corrective Action Methodologies
  • Able to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in developing tools and systems for engineering teams

  • Experience leading continuous improvement projectand cost reduction initiatives


Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $107,100 - $165,60
