Boeing Poland is currently looking for a Scrum Master to join their team in Gdansk, Poland. Candidates can work from our office in Gdansk or in hybrid mode.

On Saturday, 12 March 2022, the President of the Republic of Poland signed a law to assist citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict in that country. As part of this law, Ukrainian refugees in Poland benefit from access to the Polish labour market. Boeing welcomes applications from Ukrainian refugees who are seeking employment in Poland.

Position Responsibilities
  • Organizes and facilitates Agile/Scrum ceremonies like: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming and system demos.
  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)
  • Maintains relevant metrics to help the team supervise their performance and support the team in reaching their sprint goals, e.g., coordinating the end-to-end delivery of product features.
  • Proactively removes or advances roadblocks to allow team progress.
  • Being a great teammate passionate about getting things done;
  • Builds a believing and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
  • Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team and other depended entities.
  • Supports Product Owner in creating and organizing product backlog.
  • Supports Line Manager in process evaluation and in team growth.
  • Collaborating with collaborators to ensure agile value delivery.
  • Takes responsibility for leading dependencies between the Scrum team and others, collaborates within a local Scrum Master group especially with regards to items vital for product release.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying agile principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Good knowledge of agile methodology in software development area (experience in Scaled Agile Framework environment)
  • Team-oriented individual, positive attitude, energetic, result & delivery oriented.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Able to resolve conflicts, facilitate discussions, propose viable alternatives, and consider different approaches.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Confluence.
  • Experience working & interacting directly with clients in English

Expected Soft Skills:
  • Comfortable speaking, reading and writing English every day.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both Technical Teams and Business Stakeholders.
  • Open-minded and a teammate.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies.
