Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)is seeking aProject Management Specialist (Associate or Experienced)to join the team inNorth Charleston, South Carolina.
This position is essential to implementing the Boeing Production System within the Quality organization of the 787 Commercial Airplane Program. This role may also work across multiple Airplane Programs and functions in an effort to drive Global Industrial Champion levels of performance.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key partners in accordance with accepted project management industry standards.
- May lead others and support all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key partner requirements and project objectives.
- Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.
- Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
- Develops, collects, coordinates and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
- Identifies and provides reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 1+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools.
- 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
- 1+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders.
- 1+years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experienced (Level 3)
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
