Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a manager to join our Product Security leadership team. The selected candidate will execute on the vision and share our passion for protecting commercial airplanes' products and the aviation ecosystem. Leading the Cybersecurity Certification team requires good analytical, organizational and communication skills (internal, external, and to various levels of leadership), highly developed problem solving and project management skills, as well as strong leadership abilities.

This position is expected to be 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage employees developing, implementing, and sustaining product security and resiliency throughout the product requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and set operational goals.
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees.
  • Drive employee performance development, hiring, and staffing projections
  • Flexibility to manage statement of work across North and South Puget Sound locations. Some travel required.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 3+ years' experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
  • 1+ years of Experience working with airline customers, regulators and other stakeholders
  • 3+ years of Experience leading engineering teams and complex engineering projects
  • Experience and/or coursework in cybersecurity, security network architecture, embedded systems security, security testing and evaluation, network design, and PKI infrastructure

Summary pay range: $165, 750 - $224, 250
