Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is currently looking for a talented Product Management Specialist to join the team in Englewood, CO. This position operates within Boeing Global Services (BGS) and is responsible for the transition of legacy software into modern products along with business and market analysis.

In this role you will evaluate business opportunities encompassing the EFB Ground Solutions portfolio of products (eLink, Ground Controls, Trip Kit, and JDM Pro).You will interact with customers, identify market trends, and stay current on technology advancements. You will apply your knowledge of the market to create new solutions and expand the portfolio of products within Flight Deck Solutions.You will work closely with Software Development, customers, UX, and other Product Managers to sunset legacy software applications and move those capabilities into a modern technology stack. A successful candidate will understand the importance of using data to drive product decisions.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Drive to understand customer's problems, needs, and priorities
  • Develop and sustain productive customer and partner relationships
  • Identify, capture, and analyze appropriate data to drive business decisions
  • Build and maintain detailed product roadmaps that align to feedback provided by the market
  • Analyze multiple business models and pricing strategies to determine the optimal way to approach the market
  • Interact with peer and Product Management community to maintain an understanding of the portfolio of products and how they interrelate
  • Interact with System Architects, Product Managers, Product Owners, User Experience, and Software Development leads to define optimal solutions to challenging problems
  • Be the liaison between the customer and Software Development/UX to clearly communicate product visions, roadmaps, and goals
  • Have a deep understanding of the Agile mindset
  • Contribute to an Agile development team, representing the customer's requirements
  • Contribute to the development of collateral for marketing of software products
  • Provide system demos to customers and partners, as needed
  • Able to work well independently with little guidance as well as in a collaborative, distributed, team environment
  • Have a strong desire to learn new things, think out-of-the-box, and apply critical thinking to solve real customer problems
  • Have a strong desire to share knowledge with the team
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to effectively communicate complex ideas in a succinct and comprehensible fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences

This will be a hybrid in-office/virtual role. Expected to be in office 2 days a week from the posted location.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Finance, or similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience developing business cases
  • Experience conducting market analysis
  • Experience working on a software development project that follows Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Colorado summary pay range: Min: $112,200.00 - Max: $151,800.00
