The Engineering Systems Data Distribution team is searching for a motivated Mid-Level Software Developer - Data Distribution & Management to join our team in North Charleston, SC; Auburn, WA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining Boeing's core engineering content distribution platforms.

Position Responsibilities
  • Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents, and maintains computing applications
  • Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
  • Writes and compiles code
  • Constructs database objects based on documented design
  • Analyzes information to determine architecture specifications and parameters for software compatibility, application security needs, and other application architecture requirements
  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
  • Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems
  • Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience building and deploying java applications
  • 3+ years of experience with front-end web development (i.e. Angular)
  • 3+ years of experience with SQLServer and/or Oracle
  • 3+ years of experience with automation, implementation and deployments in both Windows and Linux systems
  • 3+ years of experience with software quality testing and validation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Engineering content delivery
  • Experience with 2D Engineering drawing formats and 3D light-weight geometry content
  • Experience working with Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and file formats

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $93,500 - $135,700
