Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join our Executive Transport team in San Antonio, Texas.

Come join Boeing Commercial Derivative Airplanes and the unique opportunity to work on the next generation's Executive Transport Aircraft. At Boeing, our Mid-Level Procurement Agents will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Boeing Company. Position Responsibilities:
  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • More than 3 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.
  • More than 3 years of experience resolving errors between supply chain systems such as GOLD, Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS) or Network Procurement (NWP).
  • More than 3 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing contractual requirements.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $74,800 - $101,200
