Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Mid-Level or Senior Tool Specialists to support the Tooling team in Victorville, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs tool setup activities (e.g., kitting, tool room operations).
  • Maintains tooling requirements to FAA and repair station tool control programs.

  • Operates various hangar/warehouse support equipment to move materials and tools as required.
  • Provides tooling support to other organizations.
  • Maintain tools and assemblies per part engineering drawings or customer requests.
  • Resolves problems with tool to produce acceptable parts and assemblies.
  • Tool checkout and check in.
  • Designs and maintain tool kits to support customer projects.
  • Works with hangar and warehouse teams to identify tooling requirements to aircraft modifications.
  • Works under general direction.

  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
    • 1+ years of tooling experience.
    • Capable of listing, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds.
    • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation (this role is primarily for first shift, but may occasionally require you to support other shifts based on the needs of the operation).

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Level C (Mid-Level): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

    Level D (Senior): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.)

    Relocation:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Level C (Mid-Level) Summary Pay Range: $69,300-$84,700

    Level D (Senior) Summary Pay Range: $78,300-$95,700
