Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level, Experienced or Senior Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona, Charleston and North Charleston, South Carolina, El Segundo, California, Hazelwood, Missouri, Huntsville, Alabama, Kent, Washington, and Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

Position Responsibilities - Mid-Level 3:
  • Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects.
  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan.
  • Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis.
  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develops risk mitigation plan.

Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 4:
  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions and special clauses and agreements.
  • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators.
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities.
  • Leads cross-functional process management activities.
  • Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action.
  • Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Advanced SQL and Scripting
  • Design and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction across various databases.
  • Produce ad-hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly data summaries to support business processes.
  • Google Cloud Database and Teradata Administration:
  • Implement, manage, and scale solutions using Google Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Teradata databases.
  • Ensure efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval in line with procurement and supply chain needs.
  • Cognos 11 Reporting and BI Tools Expertise:
  • Develop, manage, and support reports using Cognos Analytics and other business intelligence tools.
  • Interpret customer reporting requirements and deliver bespoke Cognos reports and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Data Analysis and Business Intelligence:
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights relevant to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Build business cases for process enhancements based on data analysis.
  • Ad-hoc Analytical Tool Development:
  • Design and develop analytical tools and reports to measure and track performance in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills in data identification, mapping, and interpretation.
  • Customer Requirement Evaluation:
  • Evaluate customer requirements, ensuring quick responsiveness to business-critical needs and requests.
  • Tailor solutions and reports to meet specific user expectations and requirements.
  • Documentation and Workflow Analysis:
  • Analyze documents, files, and reports related to workflow in procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data tools and reports.
  • End-User Training and Support:
  • Prepare instructional materials and train end-users on new reports and analytical tools.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and expertise to users.
  • Testing and Performance Analysis:
  • Prepare test data and analyze project performance during testing phases.
  • Implement feedback to refine and enhance reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Continuous Learning and Collaboration:
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in database and BI technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • More than 3 years of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis.
  • More than 3 years of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations.
  • More than 3 years of experience in COGNOS report writing.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
  • More than 3 years of experience in building and presenting plans orrecommendations to executive leadership.
  • Mid-Level 3: More than 3 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced Level 4: Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level 3: $76,000 - $100,800

Summary pay range for Experienced Level 4: $93,500 - $123,900
