The Boeing Company's Production System Training (PST) organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Employee Development Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Fighter Jet electrical production and maintenance, i.e. bundle routing, terminations, splicing, soldering, etc.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct learning utilizing a variety of delivery methods, techniques and platforms
  • Perform as an instructor/facilitator/technical performance coach in a specialized content area
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide learning consultation services
  • Provide extensive professional and technical assistance in both formal classroom and on-the-job learning
  • Render professional assistance to resolve difficult or unusual problems
  • Facilitate work teams, providing necessary training and leading problem resolution and process improvement
  • Broaden/deepen areas of expertise to ensure flexibility across the collective Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Interpret regulations and standards, ensure delivery of learning complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specifications
  • Emphasize safety precautions to be taken as applicable
  • Support multiple programs and/or locations as needed
  • Assist with demand planning and strategic business requirement analysis, as needed
  • Assist Functional Development by serving as a SME, as needed
  • Edit existing solutions or create temporary solutions to meet a unique and/or urgent business need, as needed

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience performing electrical production, maintenance, and/or training on fighter jets
  • 5+ years of experience with fighter jet electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience training and/or mentoring in a technical environment
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical data

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience transferring knowledge through formal or informal modes of training
  • Current FAA A&P License or Military Technical School equivalent

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $76,500 - $103,500
