The Boeing Company is seeking an Mid- Level Transportation Analyst(Level 3) to join its Transportation, Warehousing, & Logistics (TWL) Modal team in Seattle, Washington.

The Transportation Analyst must effectively communicate with customers internally and externally via phone and electronic channels while adhering to Boeing expectations. This role supports enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units and transportation modes, critical to the supply chain health, enabling production, and meeting critical program needs.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost-effective transportation services.
  • Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.
  • Participates on enterprise wide and cross-functional teams defining export control programs.
  • Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and responds to Customs and Border Protection inquiries for export control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations, federal regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations and the Boeing Compliance Offices.
  • Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.
  • Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.
  • Designs transportation plans and solutions.
  • Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.
  • Identifies requirements and business rules for third party freight audit and payment provider to ensure compliance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore a "US Person," as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, is required. "US Person" includes US citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in Transportation and Logistics operations
  • 3+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience partnering and working with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • 3+ years' experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors and carriers
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing carrier performance, costs, and business processes and developing service level agreements in the transportation field
  • 3+ years of experience of experience with shipment freight forwarding

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $72,250- $99,450
