We are rapidly growing our Engineering presence in Poland, building engineering teams to work across all of our commercial products and services. The work will support Boeing's full suite of commercial aircraft and covers modification work, retrofit, new design and product support. This is critical work to keep us at the forefront of aerospace engineering and innovation.

This position will be based from our Gdansk office with flexibility to work in a hybrid model.

On Saturday, 12 March 2022, the President of the Republic of Poland signed a law to assist citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict in that country. Profile Description
  • Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  • Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
  • Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
  • Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition.
  • Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.
  • Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
  • Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
  • Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Supports other teams as instructed to meet engineering commitments.

Position Requirements:
  • 3 or more years' of experience writing aircraft work instructions utilizing People, Parts, Processes, Tools and Designs to complete a cohesive, correct and complete build plan and experience in running improvement projects in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Environment.
  • 3 or more years' of experience using CATIA V5, ENOVIA, DELMIA
  • 1 or more years' of experience with "Engineering Information Delivery" or the Reference Engineering Drawing Automated Retrieval System (REDARS).
  • Must be legally able to work in Poland

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CMES and Velocity experience is highly desired.
  • Be mechanically minded, have spatial thinking and be able to quickly solve problems.
  • Be flexible & adaptable in a diverse & demanding environment and work schedule.
  • Be able to interact positively with people throughout the enterprise.
  • The ability to work independently and competently with little direction and supervision on daily tasks. As mid-level, the candidates are expected to own, drive and improve their business and SOW from Day 1.
  • Solid communicator, fluent in both written and verbal English
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment, using collaborative relationships to achieve goals
