Boeing Ukraine Engineering & Technology Centeris seeking aManufacturing Engineer to be responsible for Production & Industrial Engineering Fabrication Manufacturing Engineering (ME) work statements for commercial airplane programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
- Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans.
- Investigates technical problems.
- Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
- Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry without working experience;
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret Engineering documentation - Engineering drawings and Specifications; including knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing principles and standards (ISO, ASME, GOST/DSTU etc.)
- Knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., Concurrent Engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]);
- Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations;
- Knowledge of tool functions and capabilities (e.g., indexing, fixturing, handling) to support the manufacturing processes and flow;
- English language level - intermediate or higher.
- Existing rights to work in Ukraine.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, with 1+ years of working experience in an aerospace manufacturing production environment.
- Knowledge of ASME Y14 series standards, including ASME Y14.5-2009 and ASME Y14.5-2018 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Basic Knowledge of PLM/PDM and Configuration Management principles;
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years' related work experience).
