Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking multiple Group Coordinators - Flight Line to support our team inNorth Charleston, South Carolina on variable shift!

  • Works cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure LOTO book, kit and LOTO equipment are used correctly and inventoried
  • Coordinates with Lead/Manager on execution and critical path of production build
  • Additional responsibilities Included but not limited to:
  • Supervising Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
  • Review current LOTOs
  • Coordinating hazardous energy work
  • Hand off or end-of-shift activities
  • Abnormal circumstance responses
  • Listed below are additional responsibilities
  • Verifies Aircraft power can be safely provided to the airplane.
  • Inventory LOTO Kits Pre and Post shift
  • Sign into all LOTOs
  • Remove any LOTOs from the book as required
  • The GC meets with the work team to evaluate where hazardous energy is to be introduced
  • Coordinating with Functional Test SMEs and ME's
  • If work continues - coordinate hand-off with the next GC
  • If work shuts down - coordinate preparation for power shut down
  • Review status of personnel and airplane system configuration
  • Transfer LOTOs to the incoming GC's
  • Sign out of all open Control Log Sheets (X35681)
  • Verifies all mechanics are signed out of active LOTOs

  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Field Operations/Aircraft Systems/LOTO
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience within aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in advising and influencing others to meet quality and safety
      requirements or resolve technical or operational problems
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work
    • Must be able to work any shift assigned

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a team environment
    • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary pay range: $59,220 - $60,480
