The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Fabrication Business Integration Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL.

This position will lead integrated strategies and plans across the value stream to drive disciplined business execution. Our primary responsibility is for Fabrication work statement management, including acquisition, integration and execution, and the associated customer & business partner coordination across sites and Fabrication Centers of Excellence (CoEs). We also provide oversight of production/rate readiness and business process standardization while also perform CAM responsibilities for our Statements of Work.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees who provide advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns.
  • Ensure seamless communication and coordination between BDS Fabrication Programs and Functions for Statement of Work Management, ESGP deliverables, Integrated Schedules, Affordability/Continuous Improvement and Rate Readiness.
  • Manage new work induction for Huntsville Core shop by leading cross-functional activities and supports the change process
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Estimate, plan, commit & control changes related to work statement & Fabrication business plans
  • Manage work movement into and out of the work centers, ensuring compliance to strategic, financial, contractual and regulatory obligations per PRO-1975
  • Maintains baseline business plan & monitors long range business plan and commitments by managing SOW authorization, incorporating strategic decisions, and working with Finance & IP&S on integrated planning process

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy and/or business operations
  • 5+ years' experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • 5+ Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with schedule and budget management, stakeholder communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and requirements are met

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay range: $96,600 - 133,400
