The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an F-22 Test Manager (level K) located in Saint Louis, MO. This position is responsible for the oversight of ~20 test execution engineers and analysts on the F-22 program, responsible for system testing of software and hardware in the program's System Integration Lab and the 757 flying test bed. This team directly supports certification and integration testing of all products prior to release for flight test.

These duties include test execution oversight, tracking progress, providing team direction, and program reporting on a regular basis. This includes duties as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), estimate development and support for contract negotiations. Position does have direct customer/partner interactions on a regular basis and good communications skills are required. Duties include acting as an onboard test manager on the Flying Test Bed during deployments and require that the candidate be able to pass physical requirements to participate as a member of the aircraft test crew. In this role the manager will serve as a discipline leader for test functional skill set development along technical leadership.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Test execution oversight, tracking progress, providing team direction, and program reporting on a regular basis
  • Includes duties as a Cost Account Manager, estimate development, and support for contract negotiations
  • This position has direct customer and partner interactions on a regular basis and good communication skills are required
  • Duties will include acting as an onboard test manager on the Flying Test Bed during deployments and will require that the candidate be able to pass physical requirements to participate as a member of the aircraft test crew
  • In this role, the manager will serve as a subject area leader for test functional skill set development along with the test team architect.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the St. Louis, MO location.

Security Clearance:

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
  • Experience leading or managing engineering teams or projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (SSBI or TS/SCI)
