Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Procurement Agent (level 3) to join the BCA Supply Chain Contracts & Sourcing team for our Everett, Washington site.

Aircraft Systems are complex integral parts of the aircraft that use assortment of technology and material to help the airplane function efficiently and safely. The role of Systems Experienced Procurement Agent will lead the development and execution of complex sourcing and contracting strategies. Some travel may be required for this position (approximately 10% domestic and/or international travel may be required). We are looking for a high energy, passionate supply chain professional to take on large scale challenges and drive competitive advantages through our supply chain.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and implement negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Integrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.
  • Initiate and complete supplier improvement activities, inclusive of Value Engineering, and integrate results into contracting strategies.
  • Proactively communicate with the leadership team, peers, and customers. This may include the preparation and presentation of the business vision, supplier strategies, program/project status, etc.
  • Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Adhere and execute to Supply Chain affordability and financial goals and objectives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Everett, WA location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • 4+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 6+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 6+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
  • 6+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts
  • 6+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $59,220 - $109,980
