The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced International Space Station (ISS) Financial Analyst to join the team in either Houston, TX, Huntsville, AL, or Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs

  • Develops performance reports
  • Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management
  • Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
  • Leads development of business cases using appropriate indices
  • Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions

  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
    • 4+ years of experience with financial data analysis
    • Experience managing projects

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Financial analysis relating to estimate at complete (EAC), material/supplier forecasting, and earned value management (EVM)
    • Competent using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Possess proposal experience, business case analysis, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

    Relocation:
