The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Contract Management Specialist to join the Enterprise and Government Contracts organization team in Tukwila, WA; Auburn, WA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA or Seattle, WA.

This role will act as a Corporate Contracts Liaison, supporting Government acquisitions that utilize Commercial Item Transfers at Price. This includes acting as an independent corporate level consultant in support of commercially proposed products and services under Government acquisition activities. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape and influence contractual relationships between all Boeing Business Units, as well as partnerships with external customers and auditors.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Act as an independent corporate level consultant in support of Government acquisition activities that include products/service sold commercially, via Commercial Item Transfers at Price
  • Represent the company in external meetings and communications to a diverse set of customers including Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
  • Partner with Center of Excellence and Program Contracts to ensure timely and compliant submittals of proposal substantiation/determination documents to Government customers.
  • Advocate for balanced solutions to acquisition activities which both protect enterprise business interests and ensure adherence to corporate policy, laws and regulation
  • Coordinate and support Defense and Commercial teams in research, drafting and presentation of data supporting proposal/negotiation
  • Summarize complex contractual issues, and lead development of creative solutions and process improvements
  • Guide Enterprise contracting best practices and pro forma for Commercial Item Transfers at Price

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 3+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience with proposal management, strategies development and/or contract negotiations
  • 5+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position will be for first shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $83,300 - $98,000
