The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Azure Cloud Administrator based out of Dallas, TX; Miami, FL; Seattle, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Everett, WA; Renton, WA; or Arlington, VA.

As an Azure Cloud Administrator, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain the Azure cloud infrastructure services for Supply Chain organization. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, monitoring and managing virtual machines, networking resources, and other Azure infrastructure services.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience to manage and maintain the Azure cloud infrastructure and services
  • Provisioning and managing virtual machines, including creating and managing VM images, configuring networking, and managing storage
  • Responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the cloud environment
  • This includes monitoring and troubleshooting issues, managing user access and permissions, and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Azure resources, including scaling up or down as needed
  • Implementing and managing Azure networking services, such as virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, and VPN gateways
  • Implementing and managing Azure identity and access management, including Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, and multi-factor authentication
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting Azure services and resources to ensure high availability and performance
  • Implementing and managing Azure security services, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Firewall, and Azure DDoS Protection
  • Automating tasks and processes using Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other automation tools
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate Azure services with existing on-premises infrastructure
  • Staying up to date with the latest Azure features and services, and recommending their adoption based on business needs
  • Hands-on experience with the complete patch management lifecycle including testing, deploying, troubleshooting missing patches and patch issues, etc. utilizing the change management process and patch management and automation tools necessary to ensure compliance and successful audits
  • Align to Industry followed Security Standards
  • Responsible for OS Vulnerability mitigation and Compliance remediation

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience within Information Technology
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field, or equivalent experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift Work Statement:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the team to be on-site and does not allow for telecommuting due to on-site support requirements of the programs.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $118,450
